This excursion invites us to marvel at the most complete panoramic views of the city of Ushuaia. Just minutes from the urban fabric lies Mount Susana, with approximately 500 meters in height. This hill is a geoform of glacial origin that we will ascend to its highest point, where we can enjoy a privileged view. Enjoy with us one of the most chosen hikes in the city of Ushuaia, located in the Natural and Scenic Reserve “Valle Tierra Mayor”. A path that alternates between the foliage of the prevalent Lengas and extensive peatlands, until it reaches a high mountain environment, where the average altitude is 600 meters above sea level. This is where the lagoon is located, named for the emerald color of its waters, made possible by the sediment from the Ojo del Albino Glacier. Immerse yourself in our charming landscapes!

On this excursion, we take you to the northeast of the island, starting from the city of Ushuaia to the 48 kilometer of route N° 3, before the garibaldi pass Viewpoint. We enter a small high forest in the direction to the Twin Lakes which, unlike others, have the particularity of being two reservoirs made by beavers. Once there, we will go in search of the viewpoint, a privileged point to observe our entire surroundings, appreciate the garibaldi pass, the hidden lake at first, and behind it, the immensity of Khami lake.
